The Patient Care Department is the area delegated to direct contact with the patient, being this the one who manages and watches over the needs of the patient from admission to departure; he is the one who guides users through each of the HMEP areas.

In addition, it executes the Hospital’s Leisure and Educational Program This program aims to reduce stress levels, both for hospitalized patients and for outpatients, through different activities that make their visit much more enjoyable. thus changing the perspective of what a conventional hospital is.

This program generates activities that allow patients to make adequate use of their free time either by doing: crafts, storytelling, board games, loan of books, art workshops, among other activities.

All of these are supported by the team of Patient Care officers and volunteers from our hospital who are trained to provide specialized treatment with each of our little patients.

Among the main activities developed throughout the year we have: pet day, science day, trip to the zoo, visit to the museum, children’s concerts and the maximum celebration of the year, Children’s Day.
