Your safety is our priority!

At Hospital María, we maintain strict biosecurity measures to guarantee that your visit to the Hospital will be safe. Respecting the government’s provision on the use of masks in health facilities, and as a hospital policy, you must wear your mask at all times (masks are not recommended for patients under 2 years of age) to enter the hospital. You will see that all the hospital staff around you use their masks, and in some cases, other types of clothing, such as gowns and hats.

  • Hospital visits are limited to 1 family member per patient.
  • Avoid bringing luggage or items that are not necessary for care.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry and do not use gloves. Perform hand hygiene (either with an alcohol solution or soap and water) after coming into contact with surfaces.
  • Keep your distance in common areas.
  • If you must wait in line, follow the order of the steps suggested in the hospital hallways to avoid crowding.
  • Remember that you must always follow all instructions provided by the Patient Care team.
  • At the entrance, the guard will offer you hand gel. Perform your hand hygiene as best as possible.

To attend an appointment we have the following recommendations:

  • You must always call two (2) days before the consultation to confirm an appointment. taking note of the recommendations that our dating team gives you.
  • Show up at the exact time of the appointment (not before or after)
  • If the family member who will accompany the patient has had symptoms suggestive of COVID-19, this person should not accompany the patient to the appointment. Request that another family member accompany the patient. Remember that only 1 family member is allowed per patient.
  • You must arrive with your mask, in case the one you bring is not suitable for your stay in the hospital, the patient care officers will give you a new one.

For everyone’s safety, we thank you for taking into account the aforementioned recommendations. Let’s prevent the spread of COVID-19 together.
