Fundación Amigos del Hospital María (FAHM) presented this day, to Government authorities, civil society and the media, its Accountability Report for the period 2021.
The presentation took place in Hospital María, Pediatric Specialties (HMEP) for Government authorities, and through the Zoom platform for the general public. The main achievements were shared, as well as the use made of the funds allocated by the Ministry of Health (SESAL), amounting to US$ 13.2 million lempiras for the care of the 11 specialties of the hospital, and the adult and children’s wards affected by COVID-19.

In order to ensure that the care for each patient at the HMEP is provided in a homelike environment, with quality, warmth and professionalism, the FAHM optimizes the use of funds received from the Government, and additional resources (both those generated by the FAHM, as well as those that are the result of donations), ensuring that they are managed in a transparent and accountable manner.
