The HMEP cafeteria is a Subrogated service with the provider that also provides the hospital kitchen service for our patients.

The HMEP cafeteria offers breakfast, buffet lunches, as well as sweets (Tacos, baleadas, burritas, desserts, soft drinks), at affordable prices for those who visit the hospital and for our collaborators. As part of our interest in offering the best quality, the cafeteria provider is subject to quality controls in the preparation and delivery of food by the nutritionists from the team of professionals who work at the HMEP.

Employees and family members can also use this space, which is fully equipped with comfortable furniture, a microwave, and in which a pleasant and clean environment is maintained, if they wish to consume the food they bring prepared from home.

We ensure that our patients and their caregivers, if they need to stay in Tegucigalpa, have a place with all the necessary conditions so they can spend the night.

The María Hospital has the support of Casa David and Fundación Abrigo to offer services to parents who travel with their patients from the interior of the country. Additionally, the hospital provides transportation service at the following times:

• 3:30 PM Departs for Casa David from the María Hospital
• 4:30 PM Departs for Fundación Abrigo from the María Hospital

We have a free transportation service that transports our patients and their companions from the left side of the Bigos restaurant in front of the National Autonomous University of Honduras, on Suyapa Boulevard to the facilities of our hospital. This same route is followed on the contrary once the patient leaves the consultation and needs to return home.

The service is available from 5:45 a.m. in the morning until 5:00 p.m. The transport units have the logo of our hospital, to be easily distinguished.
