The volunteer program at Hospital María, Pediatric Specialties, was born from the need to be able to provide personalized treatment to each of our patients and their families, to create a pleasant environment, where they can recover and at the same time develop activities where they can remember the variety of pleasant experiences during your stay in the hospital.
Since its inception in 2016, the volunteer program has received a good number of young people eager to serve who have left a tangible mark on the HMEP. All of these young people, before providing their service, go through a selection process. which is led by the Hospital’s Patient Care Department.

Every year we carry out two to three selection processes to receive new volunteers.
