Tegucigalpa, October 2019. Executives of cbc Honduras with their number one brand of Gatorade isotonics, delivered the donation collected in the 5th edition of the GK Marathon to benefit Hospital María, Pediatric Specialties. This year 1,500 people participated in the recreational category and 2,000 people in the competitive category, which translates to a total of L 810,950.00, exceeding the goal, thus leaving a working capital of L. 661,189.50, funds that will be used to continue strengthening the Unit Heart of the hospital.
The HMEP Multipurpose Room was the setting where Gatorade representative, Licda. Maritza Morales made the delivery of the donation to Lcda. Jacqueline Flefil, general manager of the Fundación Amigos del Hospital María, on behalf of the more than 3,500 participants.

Hospital María, a life expectancy for Honduran children
Hospital María was born with the purpose of contributing to the comprehensive health of children, focused on attending to those children who suffer from critical, chronic and complex illnesses, and who need to be cared for by pediatric specialists.
