If hospitalization is required, the treating physician should contact the hospital to confirm available capacity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pediatric Care (Under 18 years of age)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your child has COVID-19 symptoms, the hospital provides evaluation, and hospitalization, if needed.&nbsp; If the minor has been in contact with people who are positive for COVID-19, but does not present any symptoms, he (she) should be kept isolated and transferred to a triage center only if he (she) develops any symptoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that emergency evaluation at Hospital Mar\u00eda is exclusively for children with COVID-19 symptoms. In case your child has other symptoms, or another illness, you should take your child to the nearest emergency room in your community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We kindly request to follow bio-safety guidelines, wearing a mask at all times, social distance and wash your hands frequently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tegucigalpa, March 2019.
