What\n        started as an isolated episode quickly became a constant, leading her\n        parents to seek answers.<br \/><br \/>\n\n        At first, doctors thought Milagro had asthma and various allergies. As\n        the months went by, the fevers intensified, reaching alarming\n        temperatures of 39 and 40 degrees. The family began visiting clinics,\n        hospitals, and health centers in search of a more accurate diagnosis,\n        but the answers did not come. To their despair, Milagro&#8217;s health\n        continued to deteriorate.<br \/><br \/>\n\n        At 18 months, doctors detected recurrent urinary tract infections that\n        began to affect her kidneys. What was once thought to be a respiratory\n        problem turned into a serious kidney condition. The little girl was\n        admitted multiple times to different hospitals, but her condition\n        continued to worsen. At that moment of uncertainty, her parents could\n        not imagine what the future held for them.<br \/><br \/>\n\n        In October 2014, Milagro&#8217;s life changed when she was referred to\n        Hospital Mar\u00eda, Pediatric Specialties. Newly inaugurated, the hospital\n        welcomed Milagro and her family with open arms. Under the care of Dr.\n        Karla Fern\u00e1ndez and a multidisciplinary team, they finally found a place\n        where they felt heard and understood. Endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, and other specialists joined\n        her treatment, carefully adjusting her care to address each new\n        complication.<br \/><br \/>\n\n        In 2022, when Milagro seemed to have reached relative stability, a new\n        setback hit the family. The girl lost the ability to walk, marking the\n        beginning of a new phase of uncertainty and fear. However, Hospital\n        Mar\u00eda did not abandon them. A group of neurologists and other\n        specialists joined forces to investigate the cause of this collapse, and\n        Milagro underwent a series of studies and procedures that revealed new\n        diagnoses.<br \/><br \/>\n\n        Thanks to the coordinated effort of doctors, physiatrists, and\n        neurologists, Milagro began a comprehensive treatment that included\n        nerve blocks to reduce pain, physical therapies, and constant monitoring\n        by various specialists.
